Salary

£20,475 - 23,400 (pro-rata)

Role Description

There is an exciting opportunity to join a growing team at CommuniTree Outdoor Education as an Office Assistant.

We are looking for someone with a minimum of 2 years’ experience of delivering excellent customer service and supporting office administration including HR, finance and development.


You will be joining an open, forward-thinking and hard-working team in which your ideas will be welcomed and you will get to work with passionate, knowledgeable individuals. You will have the opportunity to learn new skills, gain valuable experience and grow with us.

Main Duties and Responsibilities

  • Proactively manage our mailboxes (inbound/outbound emails)
  • Respond to telephone enquiries and make outbound calls to leads
  • Record-keeping and file management on SharePoint
  • Maintain and update customer contact lists and customer management system
  • Maintain media library - photos and videos 
  • Process sensitive data adhering to GDPR
  • Provide support on HR-related tasks (e.g. publishing staff rotas)
  • Raising and following up invoices
  • Organising bookings, meetings and scheduling appointments via Outlook
  • Publish clubs/events on our online booking system   
  • Developing improved processes and workflow
  • Centre Administrator for our learning management systems
  • Attending and minute-taking at meetings 
  • Proofreading documents
  • Conducting marketing research
  • Providing ad-hoc on-site support as required

Your skills and experience
  • Minimum of 2 years working within a customer service/administration role
  • Strong verbal and visual communication with excellent writing skills
  • Track record of delivering excellent customer service
  • Experience of improving workflow systems
  • Experience of organising activities and events
  • Excellent planning, organisational and administrative skills 
  • Excellent attention to detail and observation skills
  • Excellent proof-reading skills and attention to detail

Knowledge or experience with:
